Labels That Adhere to Plastic And Glass

IIf you have a bottle made of plastic or glass and you need labels, our labels will work perfectly. The adhesive and synthetic material we use for printing is ideal for adhering to plastic or glass. In fact, that’s why we chose it to begin with when we started producing labels back in 2004. It’s a material that’s specially formulated for printing tags for food products and we adopted it to use for water bottle labels. Shortly after, we discovered it was perfect for wine and beer bottle labels as well, making it obvious it’s ideal for a whole variety of applications.

Plastic Bottle Labels

Almost all bottles are plastic today; glass is becoming more rare due in part to costs related to manufacturing and shipping. Glass is used plentifully in the beer and wine market, but for bottled water, milk, juice, and sauces, plastic is almost always the bottle of choice. As I mentioned above we started using this label material back in 2004 because it worked so well on our water bottles. It’s durable and waterproof and fed through our early 2000’s HP Indigo press easily.

Plastic food containers and plastic sauce bottles are popular uses for our labels and we guarantee one of our sizes will work for your application. We have labels that will adhere to plastic containers as small as two inches in diameter and as large as 3 inches x11 inches: if you’re looking for something large to label like a plastic storage tote or something similar. One of the more creative uses of our labels was a customer that designed a circle label and used them to stick on plastic solo cups for a birthday party.

Bumper Stickers That Stick To Plastic Bumpers

Our 3 inch x11 inch bumper sticker size sticks firmly to plastic bumpers (as well as metal ones) to boldly display your custom bumper sticker and its message. Most new cars have plastic bumpers or at least a plastic cover or mold sitting over a bumper to make the car look aesthetically pleasing. Our label material will hold up for years on a plastic bumper, just make sure you clean the bumper off with a damp rag, then fully dry it before applying your bumper sticker. After that your bumper sticker will last through all kinds of weather in bold brilliant color thanks to the durable material and the thick UV coating that covers our bumper stickers.

Glass Bottle Labels

Candle jars for homemade candles and Mason jars for canning are popular uses for our labels. We’ve also had customers use our labels on glass jars for spices and candy. The adhesive works wonderfully with glass, creating a smooth, extremely strong adhesion after only a few seconds of application. If you apply one of our labels to a glass bottle and put it on crooked or in the wrong spot you can immediately take it off. However, if you let the adhesive settle it’s going to be really tough to get it off without ruining the label.

Some of our most popular label sizes for glass bottles are 2 inches x 3 inches, 3.5 inches x 4 inches, and 6 inches x 4 inches, although any size that fits your container will work. If you need a circle label for a glass bottle we have two sizes, both popular for canning, and those are 2 inch and 2.5 inch diameter labels.

We have an oval label size that is 2.25 inches x 3.5 inches that works great on glass beer bottles or even smaller wine bottles. Speaking of beer labels we have a specific product line for beer growlers both glass or otherwise. The most popular size is 6 inches x 4 inches but we also offer a 5 inch x 5 inch growler label.

The Best Label Material For Sticking To Plastic Or Glass

Since we print exclusively on one material, any of our label sizes will work for application on glass or a plastic product. Keep in mind our labels are not only durable but are also waterproof and weatherproof. Placing your product in a cooler, a refrigerator, or submerging it in water will not harm our labels nor will it have an effect on the print. The print is actually an electrostatic ink that adheres to the material rather than a traditional ink that seeps in or sits on top of the substrate.

We turn around our labels quickly, so if you’re looking to get labels for a party, special event, wedding, homemade wine crush, catering event, or anything else, we’ve got you covered. You can order directly online by creating your label, or upload a design you have already made. At the checkout page we present all the shipping options available once your shipping address is entered. We offer all services from standard USPS First Class Priority mail up to FedEx Next Day Air Early AM.
