Have you started preparing for Halloween yet? It always seems to sneak up on us! This year, we’re getting ready sooner than later, and have found a few great party-planning ideas we’d like to share with you. From creepy candles to cobweb-covered roses and delicious halloween-related desserts, you can get an awesome party going.
Fill a cup or a small pail with sand, and plant white candles inside so they stand upright. Light a red candle and tip it over the white candles so the wax drips down the tops and sides, being careful not to burn yourself. Let the wax cool completely before removing candles from sand.
To make the webs, cut a 5-inch section from inexpensive or damaged white panty hose, and pull apart until it resembles cobwebs. Stretch the material over a cluster of dark blooms (crimson roses and dahlias, and fiddlehead ferns are nice choices).
