Custom Design Your Own Label from Start to Finish

If you're feeling creative, you can design your own label from scratch using our Design Online system. Using this system, you can upload images from your computer, add text, change background and text colors, and move and resize images until the design on your screen matches the one in your head.

Custom Design Your Own Label in a Graphics Program and Upload Your Flattened File

For you artists out there using Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign, you can submit your design to place an order. Here's how: Check the label size you need and add a 1/8" bleed on all four edges to get the size of the canvas. Make sure the original design is created at 300 pixels per inch resolution. When your design is completed flatten the file and convert to RGB color profile. Save as a JPG or PNG file. Now it's ready for uploading. Start at MAKE YOUR OWN on the blue bar near the top of the site. Choose Water Bottle Labels from the drop down and follow the steps.

How NOT to Create a Label

Do not create your artwork in WORD, PowerPoint or Paint. These programs have a resolution of 72 pixels per inch. This means your label will look great on your screen, but will print pixilated or blurry. For clear printing your images must be at least 300 pixels per inch.

Do not copy and past images from web pages. Web pages are 72 pixels per inch resolution. Once again, your image needs to be a minimum of 300 pixels per inch resolution.

If you are uploading a scanned image, make sure the scanner is set at 300 pixels per inch resolution.
