INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Choose a design-Browse the categories of custom labels and stickers available on Bottle Your Brand. Once you've selected a category, take a look at the predesigned stickers in that category. Choose and personalize a custom sticker to match the theme of your party. We chose the sticker New Bud in Pink from Baby Shower Wine Labels. Edit the example text with a personal message or verse and make any necessary color changes for the text and background. If you're the creative type, make your own sticker from scratch by uploading your clip art or photo. Stickers usually ship within two business days.
  2. Choose a bag-When your custom stickers arrive take one along with you when you shop for your project. Michaels has two kinds of party bags; with handles and without handles. You'll be surprised at the colors available to choose from. Since you have a sticker with you it will be easy to make the right choice.
  3. Decide between ribbon or a bamboo pick-Do you like ribbon or picks for your bag closure method? Make your purchase accordingly. We found the best choices for picks at Cost Plus World Market. Fabric stores often have discount displays of ribbons.
  4. Punch the holes-Fold the top of the bag over allowing for room to catch the flap when you punch the holes. Measure the spacing for the holes using your pick or ribbon as a guide. Mark with a pencil using a ruler to make sure the holes align. Use the same placement on all bags by using one pre-punched bag as the guide for the remaining bags.  Make sure your guide bag has been tested with ribbon or a pick before you punch holes in all the bags.
  5. Place the stickers-This is the fun part. Place the bag on a flat surface and before you remove the protective backing from your sticker, use a pencil to mark where it looks best. Now peel the protective backing off the sticker by flexing the sticker to find the seam. Add the sticker to the bag using your guide marks and smooth from the center of the sticker out to all four edges.
  6. Fill your party bags-Choose goodies your guests will enjoy.
  7. Thread the holes-With ribbon or picks, secure the top of the bag. Your custom party bags are ready for your guests.

Now pat yourself on the back for being a savvy shopper.  Good job!
