Shipping Policy
Order Processing
All orders received Monday through Friday by 12:00 PM Pacific Time are processed same day. Orders received after 12:00 PM Pacific Time will be processed on the following business day. Once an order is processed, it will be shipped within 10 working days. NOTE: Orders are not processed on weekends or holidays as our shipping partners are closed on these days. Once an order is processed, it will be shipped no later than 10 working days.
Shipping Options
Your order is delivered using the most cost effective means. The specific shipping method for your order is based upon case quantity, delivery destination and delivery date. There are two shipping methods; UPS and LTL (Less-Than-Truckload).
Our "standard" shipping method is UPS Ground delivery service. For orders 150 lbs. or greater, we ship utilizing UPS Hundredweight. This provides our customers with the best shipping rates possible. Expedited UPS delivery, e.g., Next Day Air, Next Day Air Saver, 2nd-Day Air, 3 Day Select, is also available at a higher cost and may be selected during your order checkout process.
Due to the volume of our shipping, we have negotiated very low pallet rates for LTL service. We pass on the savings to you. For orders that qualify, we offer a low flat pallet rate through LTL service. A pallet can hold up to 72 cases; this means shipping costs would be the same for 40 cases as it would be for 72. You can maximize the pallet and save money on shipping.
*Please note that on rare occasions deliveries can be delayed due to weather and other circumstances beyond our control. We will make every effort to deliver your order on the chosen date, but the delivery date you select cannot be 100% guaranteed.
Shipping Costs
In order to keep shipping costs reasonable for all our customers, we calculate real-time costs for all UPS and LTL shipments based on prices provided straight from the servers at UPS and our LTL carrier. The "transit time" and cost of your shipment is calculated based on the recipient address you provide and your chosen shipment method. Canadian Shipping (Labels Only)
At this time, we only ship "labels only" orders to Canada. Standard shipping via UPS requires 10-12 days. NOTE: Customers are responsible for payment of duties and taxes, including an "entry preparation" fee on UPS Standard Service. The brokerage fee on UPS Expedited is included in the shipping cost.
Customs and taxes for Canada
GST (Goods and Services Tax) 7%, is applied for all shipments to Canada based on the cost of goods (not shipping). If you are an individual purchasing the labels for personal use, there is in addition, another 7%-8% PST (Provincial Sales Tax). According to NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) Canadians do not pay duties on items purchased from businesses residing in the United States. Duties are separate from the GST and PST.
International Shipping (Labels Only)
International shipping is by weight. Standard delivery for less than one pound to Canada, Mexico, and Caribbean countries is 7-12 days, Europe 7-12 days, Australia, New Zealand, South America, and to some Western Pacific and Asia locations 10 to 14 days. Most label order shipments are less than one pound in weight. Most shipments to Canada, UK, Australia, and European countries are by UPS Service. All others are by international air global priority. Be aware that there may be a customs or duty charge when you pick up your package. My Own Labels cannot be responsible for customs or duty charges.
Shipping Exceptions
Shipments to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses will be sent by USPS priority mail. Express and Next Day Air rates to certain US addresses including Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico will vary. Please email us for more information.
Priority Orders
1. An order for custom label bottled water is considered a rush order if it must ship within
10 business days. An order for "labels-only" is considered a rush order if it must ship within
3 business days.
2. All rush orders will incur a fee of $75.00 or 10% of the total cost of the order which ever is greater, excluding production costs and shipping costs.
3. Rush orders must be agreed upon by our company.
4. Rush orders cannot be guaranteed unless the artwork is approved at least 3 days before ship date.
5. Customer is responsible for all additional shipping charges.
LTL (Less-Than-Truckload)
1. If our company is generating the BOL then your customer's phone number and contact name should be included on the BOL. This helps the trucking company to expedite your order.
2. Freight charges will be billed additional for increase in fuel surcharges and extraordinary delivery situations such as inside delivery, lift gate, and residential delivery.
3. All freight quotes are based on deliveries to the back of the truck or a loading dock without driver assist, unless otherwise noted.
4. If you are providing your own carrier for third party billing, please fax or email us the bill of lading, which must indicate your account number, contact number of carrier and 'ship to' information for the order. We will call the carrier for pick up unless otherwise instructed.
5. A $5.00 per pallet charge will be applied unless there is an exchange.
