It seems like engagements spike during the holiday season, which means now is the time for brides to start jumping into the planning of their big day. There are a ton of new brides out there at the beginning of each new year, so we figure its time to lend our expertise and inspire you! Today, we bring you two quick and brilliant ideas for customizing wine labels to use in your wedding celebration.

The bride and groom from this real wedding had a wine made specially for their big day, with a customized label complete with the names of every one of the guests at their celebration. We love how the guest’s names make up the background of the label, and the personalized silhouettes of the bride and groom. Plus, its done in a great vintage style! This is a wonderful way to make your wedding one of a kind and also provide everyone with an incredibly special memento of the big day.

Make your wedding wine do double-duty as a part of the wedding decor. Have wine bottles labeled with stylish numbers to let guests know what their table number is. Place a few at each table as centerpieces and table markers, and let the guests serve themselves from your favorite blend.

A Unique Wedding Guest Book

One of the great things about using personalized and custom labels is the ability to really get creative and come up with unique ideas not everyone would think of. This can be especially helpful when planning a wedding and making it all your own. We recently came across this brilliant idea for a wedding guest book, and we are truly smitten.

Instead of the traditional guest book, why not use wine bottles with custom labels? Simply choose four bottles of your favorite wine (one that will age well) and have custom labels created – one for your 1st, 5th, 10th and 20th anniversary. Personalize the labels with your names, wedding colors, and anniversary dates in the future, and then provide guests with a paint pen in silver or gold, and have them sign the bottles! You can even add graphics or a picture of the two of you.

It’s a sweet way to keep track of everyone who attended your big day and reminisce years down the road, when you uncork the special, personalized bottles on each milestone anniversary.

A Little Takeout For Your Wedding…

Wedding LabelTakeout boxes are absolutely adorable at weddings, even if your decor is not even a little bit influenced by Asia.  They’re eye-catching, easily portable, roomy enough to store unruly favors, and totally fun to dress up!

To make this look work for you, order custom labels from Bottle Your Brand in the color, size, and style you feel will match your wedding reception’s decor.  When your labels arrive, peel off the protective backing to expose the adhesive, and then stick the labels to one side of the takeout box.

Next, buy some ribbon that matches the colors on your custom label.  Cut the ribbon into lengths that will wrap around the outside of the takeout box when it’s closed, and leave a little extra ribbon at the end so you can tie a bow.

Fill the box with whatever favors you’d like to send home with your guests, and then tie the boxes closed with the ribbon.  Now you’ve got a gorgeous piece of table decor filled with goodies your guests will be so excited to take home!

Custom Bug Spray Labels!

Wedding LabelWe stumbled across this idea over on the Glamour blog and completely agree with the author: It’s genius.  This crafty bride offered the guests at her outdoor summer wedding bottles of bug spray with adorable custom labels.

Outdoor summer weddings are gorgeous, but they do come with their own special challenges.  Power, restrooms, weather, that sort of thing.  Bugs are one of those outdoor summer wedding problems that very few people tell you about however, and if your wedding is near a body of water or the woods, you’ll find that tiny bugs can be a huge problem!

Handing out bottles of bug spray will take care of this problem nicely.  You can find small travel-sized bottles of bug spray (some even with sunscreen built in!) and provide each wedding guest with his/her own shield against pesky bugs.

Of course, bug spray bottles will likely not match the decor you’ve painstakingly selected for your special day.  The solution?  Custom labels!  We have six different custom label sizes, one of which is bound to fit your bottles perfectly.

At a recent networking event, we stumbled across a local vendor selling a product we just know you guys will love.  The vendor is called Popcorn Pavilion and they sell gourmet popcorn!

Not excited yet?  Well, don’t worry, because we’re just getting started.  Not only is their popcorn delicious, but it’s fresh (popped and seasoned right there on site!) and perfect for party favors.  If you’re feeling up for a little DIY project, you can buy a big bag of their popcorn and then divvy it up into smaller cellophane bags.

A little popcorn, a little ribbon, and presto!  Party favors that people will gobble up!  But wait, there’s something missing: That little something extra.  The custom element that will really make your favors shine.  It’s missing a custom label!

The tricky thing about destination weddings is, What to bring?  Suitcase space is limited, but you don’t want to sacrifice your wedding style for luggage economy, so what do you do?  You think smart, that’s what!

One of our favorite little destination wedding tricks is to use custom water bottle labels for wedding favors and Out of Town Bags.  Custom water labels are small, and easy to tuck into a suitcase, but they make a huge impact when guests take a look!
