Great Adult Birthday Party Favor Idea!

custom-long-island-iced-tea One of our customers submitted this photo to our gallery and we liked the idea so much we just had to share it!  Wanda is planning a 50th birthday party for her husband, and she customized bottles of Long Island Iced Tea mix for party favors!

We adore party favors that guests will love and actually want to take home, and this one is perfect for adults!  There are so many alcoholic beverage mixers you could use for these favors, the options are staggering!  Margarita mix, lemon drop mix (this would be cute for a bridal shower or bachelorette party!), bloody mary mix, you name it!

To customize this idea for your own, simply buy the bottles of mix (Costco has really great deals on alcoholic beverage mixers), tall cellophane bags, and party color coordinated ribbons.  Order custom wine labels from us, and apply the labels to the bottles over the original labels.

Then, stick the customized bottles in the cellophane bags, tie and curl the ribbons at the top, and voila!  A custom party favor your guests will definitely not want to leave behind!

Stylish 2nd Birthday Party Inspiration!

charlottes-2nd-birthday-party-logo Jess from Party Box Design recently threw one heck of a party celebrating her adorable daughter Charlotte’s 2nd birthday, and we are so tickled to have been part of the décor!  (You may remember Jess from our post about her daughter’s 1st birthday party)

This party was ten different kinds of fabulous, from the colorful flower arrangements to the whimsical straws, every detail was picture-perfect.  If you want all kinds of eye candy and kids party inspiration, check out her recap of the party here and here.

custom-water-bottle-display-1 Jess again chose to use custom water bottles for the refreshments at this party, and it’s easy to see why: She comes up with the best displays for the bottles!

She used our “Venetian Wedding” water bottle label design, customized it with a happy birthday Charlotte message, and then stuck the custom labels over bottles of water she bought separately.  If you head over to her party recaps, you’ll see that this label matched the black and white damask decorations perfectly.

custom-water-bottle-display-2 One thing we loved about this custom bottled water display was the use of large glass cylinders to display the bottles artistically while keeping practicality in mind.  Guests were easily able to grab bottles of water, but they were pretty and added height and drama to the décor while they waited to be used.

Dinosaurs are awesome.  Huge and exotic, they can captivate a roomful of children like nobody’s business.  That’s why we designed our adorable “Dinosaur Duo” water bottle label: to help you harness the fun of dinosaurs!

The great thing about dinosaurs is that they’re not specifically a boy or a girl thing, everyone likes them!  You can throw a dinosaur birthday party for a little girl, a little boy, or both: the only thing that’s for certain is that everyone will have fun!

The same kind of idea applies to this label design.  You can use this design to customize the bottled water at your party, or apply the design to custom labels and have custom birthday stickers with cute dinosaurs on them.  You could use these custom stickers to seal birthday party favor bags, or even just throw a couple into each bag for the kids to play with later.

Princess Birthday Labels

Do you have a little girl who just loves all things princess?  Pink and purple, sparkles and glitter, everything is full of whimsy and beauty!  If you’re planning a birthday party for your little princess, check out these gorgeous princess-inspired water bottle labels.

The one you see above is called “Princess Birthday” and features dreamy clouds and playful pink butterflies.  We also offer this design as well, called “Fairy Castle“, which features a hand-sketched castle a princess could easily call home:

If neither of these designs are quite your cup of tea, you can always upload your own custom image to our system for a completely custom birthday party favor.  A really fun way to do this is to scan your birthday party invitations, and then use an image from your birthday party invites on your water bottle labels.  Perfectly coordinated and easy to do!

Here are some fun activity ideas for princess themed birthday parties to help you get inspired:

  • Dress up corner.  Have everyone bring her favorite princess dress-up dress and provide plenty of tiaras, gloves, jewelry, and dress-up shoes.  Now watch the fashion show!
  • Crown construction.  Provide pre-cut princess crowns in lots of colors, and then set out plastic jewels, markers, stickers, feathers, and glue.  Keeps the girls contained and entertained!
  • Cupcake decorating.  Pre-bake enough cupcakes for everyone at the party, and then set out frosting and sprinkles in various colors and styles.  Make sure you provide lots of towels to help wipe frosting off hands and clothes (and faces!)

Princess theme birthday parties are so much fun to plan and attend, just make sure you provide plenty of healthy refreshments so your little princesses have all the energy they need to enjoy themselves!
