When we stumbled on this collection of wines from Swanson Vineyards, we instantly fell in love with their label design and packaging. This vineyard has been making wines for the past 25 years, and recently started producing special bottles just made for those extra special occasions in life – from bar mitzvahs and weddings to birth announcements and engagement parties. You could serve guests with these charming little bottles, or give a few as gifts.

This is one of our favorite (and most popular) baby shower labels on the site, for its simplicity and clever “Wine before Whining” tag line. Often, people debate about whether or not to serve wine at a baby shower – given that the mother you’re honoring can’t partake in the drinking of it, but its becoming more and more common, and we are totally on board with that. Besides, how can you resist serving a wine with cute personalized labels like these? And if you choose not to serve wine at the next baby shower you host, you can still order these labels and put them on bottles of your favorite wine, as favors for the attendees that aren’t preggers.

Popcorn Favors!

At a recent networking event, we stumbled across a local vendor selling a product we just know you guys will love.  The vendor is called Popcorn Pavilion and they sell gourmet popcorn!

Not excited yet?  Well, don’t worry, because we’re just getting started.  Not only is their popcorn delicious, but it’s fresh (popped and seasoned right there on site!) and perfect for party favors.  If you’re feeling up for a little DIY project, you can buy a big bag of their popcorn and then divvy it up into smaller cellophane bags.

A little popcorn, a little ribbon, and presto!  Party favors that people will gobble up!  But wait, there’s something missing: That little something extra.  The custom element that will really make your favors shine.  It’s missing a custom label!

Custom labels are the perfect thing to turn your popcorn favors into custom popcorn favors.  Our labels are completely self-adhesive, so all you have to do is personalize them and then stick them on!

Can You Serve Wine at a Baby Shower?

[singlepic id=281 w=240 h=240 float=center]An etiquette question to be sure!  You’re planning an event where the person of honor likely can’t have any alcohol, so is it ok to serve wine at a baby shower?

The answer?  Of course!  Just because the mama-to-be probably won’t be knocking any glasses of vino back doesn’t mean your guests can’t enjoy some libations!

Dress up the bottles with some adorable baby shower-themed wine labels and they’ll fit right in.  We have some really cute designs in our Baby Shower category, you’re sure to find a design you love (including “Baby Animals“, shown above).  If you’re feeling artistic, though, it’s easy to create completely custom designs too.

We recommend serving a bottle of red and a bottle of white, so your guests can choose their favorite.  Our wine labels are completely waterproof, so no worries about keeping the white wine on ice.

We’ve found that serving wine at parties can help people mingle more comfortably.  There will likely be a lot of people at the shower who haven’t met before, so everything you can do to encourage guests to chat and introduce themselves is great!

If you’re really hesitant about serving wine, just ask the mama-to-be how she feels.  If she isn’t bothered, no one else will be either!

Modern Colors Meet Vintage Styling

“Amelia” is a custom wine label that can be used for weddings, bridal or baby showers, birthday parties, or gifts.  Combining modern colors with vintage styling, this wine label design is a tour de force of chic style!

You can use the large central area to add a monogram to this wine label, or you can put something like a photo or date there.  The aqua blue border provides ample room for event details, but the color is bold enough that it stands well on its own.

Custom Baby Shower Favors

[singlepic id=256 w=240 h=240 float=center]When you’re planning a baby shower, sometimes it feels like you need twice as many arms and four times as much spare time to get everything done!  Invites, venue, decorations, food, games, favors, there’s a lot to think about and prepare.

While it can be tempting to want to cut corners with the baby shower favors, trust us when we say that these are just as important as the food and games.  Your guests are coming out to celebrate someone you care about, it’s crucial to make sure they know they’re valued and appreciated.  Plus, the right favor can make sure the party atmosphere comes home with them!

An easy baby shower favor idea is to buy some cellophane bags (you can buy them for next to nothing at party stores or online) and fill them with ready-to-go treats.  If you’re feeling ambitious, you can bake a batch of cookies and send each guest home with two homemade cookies.  If you’re short on time, snack-size candy bars work great too.

Tie the bags closed with ribbon that matches your decorations, and then use a custom label to add some pizazz to the whole ensemble.  We have custom baby shower stickers in a whole host of shapes, sizes, and colors, and it’s easy to customize the wording.  If you like the one pictured above, you can customize it here.
