Stylish 2nd Birthday Party Inspiration!

charlottes-2nd-birthday-party-logo Jess from Party Box Design recently threw one heck of a party celebrating her adorable daughter Charlotte’s 2nd birthday, and we are so tickled to have been part of the décor!  (You may remember Jess from our post about her daughter’s 1st birthday party)

This party was ten different kinds of fabulous, from the colorful flower arrangements to the whimsical straws, every detail was picture-perfect.  If you want all kinds of eye candy and kids party inspiration, check out her recap of the party here and here.

custom-water-bottle-display-1 Jess again chose to use custom water bottles for the refreshments at this party, and it’s easy to see why: She comes up with the best displays for the bottles!

She used our “Venetian Wedding” water bottle label design, customized it with a happy birthday Charlotte message, and then stuck the custom labels over bottles of water she bought separately.  If you head over to her party recaps, you’ll see that this label matched the black and white damask decorations perfectly.

custom-water-bottle-display-2 One thing we loved about this custom bottled water display was the use of large glass cylinders to display the bottles artistically while keeping practicality in mind.  Guests were easily able to grab bottles of water, but they were pretty and added height and drama to the décor while they waited to be used.

Funny Bumper Stickers

chick-magnet-bumper-sticker Bumper stickers can say a lot about who you are.  They can proudly proclaim which sports teams you live for, the name of the politician you’d like to see elected, your views on religion/love/food, and your opinion of the behavior of the drivers around you.

Or, they can reflect your state of mind.  Dancing With the Stars fans can toodle around town with bumper stickers proclaiming who they’d like to see win, card-carrying geeks can laugh about each other’s binary bumper stickers, and Jim Gaffigan fans can unite and rejoice about the magic of Hot Pockets and bacon.

Bumper stickers are more than just a cheap way to cover nicks, dents, and scrapes on your car, they can be an opportunity to allow total strangers to smile and commiserate with you while they’re sitting behind you in traffic.  Take, for instance, the “Chick Magnet” bumper sticker shown above.  Who knows, this simple and cute bumper sticker could give some random stranger a much-needed smile on a rough day.

Break Out Your Flip-Flops!

vacation-water-bottle-label *Sigh* Doesn’t the image of two cocktails toasting a warm Bahama sunset make you want to hop on a plane and start your vacation immediately?  Well, if you plan a destination wedding at a tropical venue, your wish may just be granted!

The tricky thing about destination weddings is, What to bring?  Suitcase space is limited, but you don’t want to sacrifice your wedding style for luggage economy, so what do you do?  You think smart, that’s what!

One of our favorite little destination wedding tricks is to use custom water bottle labels for wedding favors and Out of Town Bags.  Custom water labels are small, and easy to tuck into a suitcase, but they make a huge impact when guests take a look!

Just order the water labels only, then purchase bottled water/fruit juice/whatever bottled beverage you like once you get to your destination.  Our labels are completely self-adhesive, so they’re a cinch to apply quickly, and they are an easy custom touch to add to your nuptials.

Patriotic Beer Tastes Better

american-ipa We’re halfway through June and that means that BBQ’s everywhere are heating up for the grilled meat holiday of the year: 4th of July!
