4 New Designs Just in Time for Summer!

We are so excited to debut even more brand-new designs just in time for the summer wedding season!  Inspired by the warmth and vivacity of the season, these designs are flirty, feminine, and absolutely perfect for stylish weddings.  Without any more ado, let’s get into the good stuff!

custom-wedding-labels-butterfly “Butterfly” is a contemporary adaptation of the whimsical butterfly wedding theme.  The stark black and white colors are infused with life by a shock of color from the butterfly’s wings.  The color of the butterfly’s wings can be changed to match wedding colors.

custom-wedding-labels-poppy-field “Poppy Field” is bright, cheerful, and has all the casual elegance of a summer family picnic.  The graceful poppies silhouetted against the bright red backdrop conjure images of gentle breezes, warm sunshine, and easy laughter.  The colors on this design can be changed.

custom-wedding-labels-heart-nouveau “Heart Nouveau” is dramatic, a stylish statement replete with the kind of effortless chic that has characterized style icons for centuries.  The colors can be changed on this label to suit your theme and palette.

DIY Wedding Favor: Dipping Oil

We put this fun favor together using easy-to-find materials and it was recently featured on the Style Me Pretty Blog!  Here’s how to make it:

The materials:

  • 1 small glass jar with cork (purchased from Michael’s for $.99)
  • 1 3 litre container of extra virgin olive oil (purchased from Cost Plus World Market for $24.99)
  • 1 2.25 oz packet of Italian Seasoning (purchased from Cost Plus World Market for $1.99)
  • 80 foot spool of raffia (purchased from Cost Plus World Market for $1.99)
  • 30 custom labels (1 sheet of large water bottle labels purchased from Bottle Your Brand for $9.99)

The instructions:

  1. We adapted a wine label design from Bottle Your Brand to fit onto a large water bottle label.  We were able to fit three small labels (measuring 2.125” W by 2.062” H) onto one large water bottle label (measuring 2.125” H by 8.062” W) by turning the design sideways and stacking them.  After the labels were printed, we used a paper-cutter to trim the large water bottle label down to the three small labels.  We were able to get three small labels out of one large water bottle label.
  2. Put 1 ¼ tsp of Italian Seasoning into the empty bottle.  Using a small funnel, fill the rest of the bottle with extra virgin olive oil.  The small bottle we bought from Michael’s used about three ounces of olive oil to fill.  Insert the cork.
  3. Peel the protective backing off the small custom label, and apply to the bottle.  If the bottle gets olive oil on it, we found that using Windex is a great way to clean the bottle off so that the label will stay on!  We picked a three-sided bottle so that the label would have a nice flat surface to sit on.
  4. Measure out 12 inches of raffia and loop twice around the neck of the bottle.  Tie a simple double knot, then trim the edges so that they are even at a length you think looks nice.

If you were to make 50 favors (one per couple) you would end up spending less than $2.30/favor for a completely custom, adorable DIY favor!

We are wild about personalized beer for weddings.  Of course, we’re wild for weddings in general so this probably won’t come as much of a surprise.  We love using custom label bottled water and personalized wine labels to add a personalized flair to wedding reception decorations, and we’ve just added a brand new category for wedding beer labels as well!

It doesn’t matter whether you’re planning to serve your fiance’s favorite lager or someone is planning on homebrewing a special batch of ale just for your wedding, beer and weddings can and do go beautifully together.  With this hot new trend in mind, we’ve designed a whole host of new designs that will make sure your signature panache is displayed throughout your wedding.

January Photo Contest Winner

personalized-wedding-water-bottle-labels-12.jpg Our congratulations go out to Amanda W., the winner of January’s photo contest and proud new owner of a $25 Amazon gift card!  Amanda tied the knot in May last year and used personalized labels to customize the refreshments she provided for guests.  Her bottles looked great with their initials on them and were very refreshing in the Texas heat!

Amanda’s presentation of these bottles in giant tubs of ice is a beautiful way to give guests easy access to their drinks.  Our labels are completely waterproof, so they won’t smudge or come off even if they’re stored in ice all day.  Custom label bottled water is a creative way to add to a personalized touch to a necessary part of every wedding!
