Preppy Pink Crab Party from Party Box Design

We recently provided labels for a Preppy Pink Crab Party hosted by Jess over at Party Box Design for her daughter, Charli. Charli loves crabs, and Jess loves a well put-together party, and we have to say, the results were fabulous. Using shades of pink, powder blue and navy with polka dots thrown in to add to the “preppy” vibe, Jess threw a summer crab fest that was fun for both the kids and adults.

There were steamed crabs, Crabby Ale (with labels from yours truly), and kids took home crabby cupcake push pops and cookies. Adults were given a jar of crabby spice – all done up with custom labels. Jess says it was her “favorite party yet” thanks to amazing vendors and a fantastic photographer, Cellar Door Photography.

There’s the birthday girl in her pretty pink tutu! How beautiful does the bar look – we love that its housed in an old-fashioned white hutch!

Pink and Gray Wedding Personalized Water Bottle Label

We love the simplicity of this water bottle label that recently came through our offices. The colors are so complimentary and we are big fans of the text done all in lower case. Its such a simple label for bottled water for a wedding, but it completely captured our attention – and naturally, it got our minds going – thinking about what the wedding could look like – especially with such a rich color scheme. The gray is a perfect balance for the two shades of pink in the label – keeps your wedding from looking too girly.

U.S. Kids Drink Too Little Water

[singlepic id=315 w=240 h=240 float=center]A recent study came out that indicates that American kids aren’t getting enough water.  This deficiency can lead to impaired mental and cognitive performance, not to mention plain old physical dehydration!

This article, which appeared on MSN a few days ago, has a few tips for encouraging reluctant kids to drink plain agua.  If your kids are hooked on soda or juices and find plain water boring, the article suggests serving plain water between meals with slices of fruit in it.

This is excellent advice!  You could also send your child to school with a bottle of water as well, or perhaps a re-fillable canteen he or she can re-fill at the drinking fountain.

We also recommend providing bottles of water to kids at birthday parties, sporting events, and play-dates.  Any time you have a bunch of kids playing and exercising, it’s crucial to make sure they have all the water they need to stay hydrated.  Water is the healthiest beverage you can offer, make sure your kids get lots of it!

Of course, if your kid shuns water because it’s too boring, maybe it could help to customize the water you offer with some custom labels.  Sometimes having their own special water can glamorize it enough to help them get the taste for the stuff.

Making Waves to Fight Cancer

[singlepic id=311 w=240 h=240 float=center]This September, nearly 200 swimmers went for a bracing swim in the freezing cold waters of Lake Washington (here in Washington) for the Swim Across America event to raise money to fight cancer.  These brave souls raised over $180,000 for the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance!

The event was a rousing success, with almost 25 teams competing in a two mile swim or a half mile swim alongside Olympic swimmers.  At the conclusion of each event, every swimmer was handed a Swim Across America towel as well as a bottle of water.  Guess who provided the water?

[singlepic id=310 w=240 h=240 float=center]That’s right!  We did!  We were happy to contribute to this fantastic event.  Any time we can help fight cancer we’re happy to lend a hand.  Every single person in our office has been personally affected by cancer or has a loved one who’s been affected by it, so we feel strongly about finding a cure!

Funny Family Reunion Label

Custom Swag Water

[singlepic id=289 w=240 h=240 float=center]The Eventology conference, one of the biggest conferences for wedding and event planning professionals, took place this year Indianapolis.  The people who handled the event chose to gift the attendees with swag bags containing gifts from many of the industry’s best and brightest.

Of course, we think the absolute best items in the swag bags were the custom 8 oz bottles of water from Bottle Your Brand!  The bright pink polka dot label matched the decor perfectly, and the 8 oz size was the perfect fit for the bags.

If you’re putting together swag bags, you really can’t go wrong with 8 oz bottles of custom labeled water.  Everyone likes water, so you know this is one item that won’t immediately get thrown into a trash bin, and it’s the perfect way to perpetuate the branding from your conference.

Celebrate Dads and Grads!

If you’re itching to plan something just a little different but still enjoyable for the fathers and graduates in your family, why not send them out to the driving range together?  If the dads and grads in your family enjoy golfing, this is a truly fantastic way to celebrate and enjoy one another!

Dinosaur-Sized Fun!

Dinosaurs are awesome.  Huge and exotic, they can captivate a roomful of children like nobody’s business.  That’s why we designed our adorable “Dinosaur Duo” water bottle label: to help you harness the fun of dinosaurs!

The great thing about dinosaurs is that they’re not specifically a boy or a girl thing, everyone likes them!  You can throw a dinosaur birthday party for a little girl, a little boy, or both: the only thing that’s for certain is that everyone will have fun!

The same kind of idea applies to this label design.  You can use this design to customize the bottled water at your party, or apply the design to custom labels and have custom birthday stickers with cute dinosaurs on them.  You could use these custom stickers to seal birthday party favor bags, or even just throw a couple into each bag for the kids to play with later.
