We can hardly believe we’re saying this, but its time to start getting ready for Valentine’s Day. We know, New Year’s Eve was just the other day, and how could it be time for Valentine’s already – right? Time flies, friends! Especially if you have a party to plan for that you might need labels for. Wink, wink.
In any case, we’ve started our Valentine’s Day prep, and our favorite find so far? These amazing little custom fruit labels from Twig and Thistle Shop on Etsy. They are just the right size – like real fruit labels – and are printable – great for your home parties. We love the saying’s on them too: “You’re the APPLE of my eye”, “ORANGE you glad you’re mine?”, “We make the perfect PEAR” and “I’m going BANANAS over you”. We know, the cuteness is almost too much.
Even if it’s not for Valentine’s Day, can you imagine the smile you would put on someone’s face if they opened their lunch bag to this? Completely brilliant.
It may be because today is particularly gray and dismal here in Seattle, but we are really feeling the bright, spring-y feeling of this new pink and green baby shower invitation. It’s sweet and lovely for a shower for a baby girl, and we love the baby buggy theme – you can do the cutest decorating with a baby buggy theme. We hear from our friends in the wedding industry that they are already booking consultation appointments like crazy, which means the 2012 wedding season is already off to a brilliant start. If you got engaged over the holidays, now is the time to start thinking about what you might want your wedding to be like – unless you are one of the people that has been planning your wedding since you were a kid, and already have the details all worked out. One of the first things on a wedding check-list is to pick a date. Once that’s done, its time to send out the save-the-dates – these are the beginnings of the wedding planning process and just getting the wheels started turning.
