As labels come through the offices, we love to see all of the different theme and color palette ideas that our customers choose for all of their events. There are some gorgeous combinations that we never would have thought of! One of the color palette’s we’ve been enjoying most lately is a simple green and black combination. A Cookies and Milk Party Theme

We are crazy about our new Milk and Cookies party theme set. It’s whimsical, fun, a little bit retro (because, let’s face it, the idea of milk and cookies as a snack is a little bit retro) and just the right amount of playful. All in all, the perfect set for a kids birthday party!

We’ve found a TON of inspiration for a sweet party like this. Let’s start with the milk. There are so many cute ways to display it and package it for your party.

We love the idea of the large glass juice containers filled with chocolate or regular milk – this would  also be a great idea for a wedding reception. Using old Starbucks Frappucino bottles, you can give them custom labels and they look like perfect little mini-milk bottles. So many options!

Next up, the most important part, if you happen to ask us – the cookies. Don’t think you have to stick with the standard chocolate chip variety – although, it is delicious. There are plenty of yummy choices – in fact, having an entire “cookie bar” with different types to choose from, is a great idea.

What about the cake made entirely out of Oreo cookies? We love it!

We happen to love pretty packaging – if it comes in a charming, cute or well-designed package, we usually fall for it. Custom labels are of course, a great way to put that finishing touch on packages and gifts – but beyond that, cute boxes and bags for homemade treats, favors and more, are a great place to get started making your packages look amazing.

We’ve come across a lot of party and favor packaging shops with unique options on Etsy recently, and they are stocked full of charming picks that would look great with your very own custom label. Whether you are an expert pie baker and need boxes to package your goods for holiday gifts for friends, or a cupcake queen that needs a pretty way to carry your little cakes to friends and family on their birthdays – there are a ton of lovely options out there.

Special Occasion Cookies: Edible Delights from JP Creatibles

We recently developed a major crush on JP Creatibles, an incredible custom cookie studio located in Ashburn, Virginia, where each cookie is hand-decorated by owner and designer Jen Fisher. Every order than Jen creates is one-of-a-kind because each order is completely custom designed and made-to-order. We are so impressed with her work – the cookies we have seen are like tiny little works of art – so detailed and beautiful, we can hardly believe that they are edible!

Wedding Theme Inspiration: Love Birds

One of our designers just posted an adorable Save-the-Date invitation on the site this morning, and we are simply charmed by the cute and whimsical design – not to mention the bright colors and laid-back style.

The Love Bird theme is huge in wedding trends right now, and there are plenty of fun ways to incorporate it into your event decor and design. Hang birdcages from the ceiling or tree branches, or put them on tables as centerpieces, and fill them with candles or flowers. You can string garlands of paper birds or origami birds around the venue, and top cakes with little birds in a variety of types and looks – the options are endless!
